In tongue drive system is tongue operated assistive technology for developed technology for disability to control their environment. The tongue is considered an excellent appending in severally disabled people for operation an assistive device. In finger drive system is finger operated. The men whose finger is properly working but hand is not work properly in that situation this is used. In tongue drive consist of an array or permanent magnet of a hall-effect magnetic sensor mounted on dental retainer on the outer side of the teeth and in finger drive on thumb consist of array and another finger consist hall effect sensor to measure the magnetic field generated by a small permanent magnet secured on the tongue or finger. The sensor signals are transmitted across a wireless link and processed to control the movement of a cursor on a computer screen or to operate a powered wheel.
Many people who use wheelchairs are unable to control a powered wheel chair due to injury or paralysis. A new human machine interface for controlling a wheel chair by hand finger and tongue movement. The output of hall-effect sensor is give to the operational amplifier and that signals are amplified and forwarded to the microcontroller. According to the output controlling signal of microcontroller Dc solid state relay. Relay signal is given to the dc motor and control them. The direction of the wheel chair is controlling according to the hall-effect sensor is controlled.
