Please find herewith a copy of the letter dated 16/08/2010 of Prof. Anil K Gupta of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad regarding cooperation in building a viable and sustainable platform for linking the Technological challenges in MSME and informal sectors with the creative potential of young technology students and faculty in various engineering institutions. The contents of the letter are self explanatory.

IIM, Ahmedabad requests the cooperation from all engineering colleges and polytechnics in the state on the following aspects.

1. Inform all faculty and students of all engineering institutions in the state about the mission and objectives of Techpedia for a nation building cause.

2. Transfer the current database of the projects / reports submitted by the final year students to Techpedia

3. Requesting eminent faculty and researchers of the institutions to become a part of the National Mentoring Network (NMN) headed by Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, Former DG of CSIR and guide the students involved in pursuing solution pertaining to the industry defined problems.

Heads of all Engineering institutions in the state are hereby directed to do needful in the matter.
