City-based NGO Sristi (Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions) has initiated a project to map unsolved technical problems and emerging challenges in the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) sector across Gujarat. This project is being carried out by Techpedia.in, Sristi’s flagship portal dedicated to technology projects.
Around 60 engineering students have already started the process of identifying such technological problems among various MSMEs in seven districts including Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Saurashtra, Bhavnagar and Morbi. The solutions to tackle these problems would be filtered from the various options given by more than 3.5 lakh engineering students, who are registered with the portal.
