Abstract: We have visited GRIDBOTS Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a robotics based company. They want to monitor their systems at regular time interval for its maintenance but they do not want to assign persons for that because of low efficiency and higher probability of error. So they asked us to make such a system which can monitor and collects the data of their system automatically at regular time period because they want their system automatic and accurate and fast.
Our system called, Distributed data logging system, is the solution of this problem. It consist of different nodes. This nodes consists of sensors. This nodes collects the data from different sensors and that data will be sent to one master. This master collects the data from no of nodes and analyses that data and also gives the intimation by LEDs and LCD connected to master and those data are sent to the Pc/Laptop where it is analyzed. We can put different sensors on all nodes and monitor them at regular time period. Communication between nodes has wireless RF module, UART communication will be done between master and Pc/Laptop.
So, Distributed data logging system is a system which monitor and analyze the machine easily. |

Abstract: Transmission through RF is better than IR (infrared) because of many reasons.
Firstly, signals through RF can travel through larger distances making it suitable for
long range applications. Also, while IR mostly operates in line-of-sight mode, RF
signals can travel even when there is an obstruction between transmitter & receiver.
Next, RF transmission is more strong and reliable than IR transmission. RF
communication uses a specific frequency unlike IR signals which are affected by
other IR emitting sources. This RF module comprises of an RF Transmitter and
an RF Receiver. |

Abstract: System consists of IR – transmitter & receiver. Microcontroller will get single pulse on every
revolution of the wheel. So based on the no of pulses by some formulas, microcontroller will
calculate speed, kilometers & revolution per minute. Car Ignition will be controlled using a relay
circuit. Relay will be switched ON when user enters correct password. In case of wrong password, it
will generate an alarm signal and send a sms to the owner. If owner wants, he/she can save the car
from unauthenticated use. System also contains the vehicle tracking circuit. It has a GPS receiver,
which will get signals from satellite and calculate latitude, longitude, date, time and send this
information to the owner at regular time interval. If Our vehicle is stolen then user can control his
vehicle by sending the message by his mobile to the GSM modem which is situated within the
vehicle by receiving this massage GSM modem will send the OFF signal to the relay which is
connected to the power supply of the vehicle due to that the vehicle will off by power off the battery. |

Abstract: With the advent of storage and usage of multimedia or video data in digital format there arose a need to store, stream video data in appropriate formats. Now with the availability of various technologies like latest mobile, camera and other utilities it becomes necessary to have data in correct and optimized format. Using FFmpeg an open source tool we intend to design a transcoder library in its simplest form which implements a video decoder and then an encoder thus enabling the user to convert the video codec of the input file, and also allows changing the resolution as well as the frame rate of the video. The transcoder library will allow the user to change the video codec from the MJPEG to MPEG1VIDEO, and even allow changing the MJPEG to MJPEG and allowing various resolution changes and certain supported frame rate for both the encoding video codec. The original video codec is examined and decoded and then after the manipulation of raw video data the re-encoding of the data is done applying the time stamp. |
