The present study is aimed at evaluation of cytotoxic activity of certain indigenous medicinal plants of Gujarat. Primarily the extracts would be prepared and screened for phyto-constituents. The extracts would be further subjected for two in vitro assays notably brine shrimp assay and using C. elegans. Moreover, the active extracts would be subjected to cell viability using MTT.
Collection and authentication of certain indigenous medicinal plants of Gujarat documented for their utility in the treatment of tumours.
