Wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form, such as electricity, using wind turbines. The principle application of wind power is to generate electricity. Large scale wind farms are connected to electrical grids. Individual turbines can provide electricity to isolated locations/ In the case of windmills, wind energy is used directly as mechanical energy for pumping water or grinding grain. Wind energy is renewable & will therefore not run out, Wind energy does not produce any green house gas or other toxic pollutants, Wind energy is useful where of generating electricity in remote area that are not connected to main electricity grid, Wind energy is free once you installed the equipment. Wind energy required relatively low maintenance, can share it land use with other activity such as grazing cattle, agricultural.The growing wind energy sector is creating new job in all different kind of area such as in manufacturing, construction and environmental management service.
